Cross amasses four TDs in blowout win

It has been a rough season for the football team, as the Cougas have struggled to find some consistency on the field. However, on Friday night, the Cougars showed a defensive dominance they haven’t displayed all season, allowing the talented offense to take control and defeat Northview. Anthony McCall finished with over 220 yards on only 18 carries to lead the Cougars to a 37-7 victory. Brendan Cross contributed four touchdowns, three were passes and one was a score on the ground. The victory came a week after a loss to Mill Creek, 41-20. This week, Chattahoochee travels to North Forsyth before finishing the season on the road against Duluth. … It was a bittersweet ending to the volleyball team’s season over the weekend. A week before the Cougars began their run for a state championship, the team won the area championship over Northview. It took five games to win, but the Cougars were able to take down one of the top teams in the state. Unfortunately, the girls weren’t as successful in the state tournament, losing to Pope in straight sets in the quarterfinal round.
