The Corky Kell Classic game between Archer and Tucker that was postponed Friday Night at Coolray Field will be played Saturday night at 6 p.m. at Hallford Stadium in Dekalb County. The games will be webcasted live by the PlayOn Sports crew of Brandon Minceym, Ian Russell, Chris Mooneyham and Steve West. Also, there will be live cut-ins from the game on PeachtreeTV hosted by CBS’ Fred Kalil. You can watch the game on the web by Clicking Here. Also, the postponed game Friday between Buford and Milton will be played on Friday, Sept.6 at 8 p.m. at one of the schools, the site being determined by a coin flip in the next few days. It will be broadcast on WPCH. All tickets for both postponed games Friday at Coolray Field will be honored at the rescheduled games.
On Friday, Tucker was set to meet Archer at 5:30 p.m. and Milton was slated to play Buford at 8:30 p.m. before the deluge began around 5 p.m. and continued over the next hour. The rain washed out the infield at Coolray, creating a dangerous playing surface for the athletes, and forced the Corky Kell staff to make the decision to reschedule the games.
