New Centennial football coach Jeffrey Carlberg is quickly putting his fingerprints all over the Knights program, and he has invited Score along for the ride during his first year at the helm. Here are highlights from last week.
After a GHSA-mandated dead period, we are back together as a team. We have resumed our daily three-hour strength and conditioning program each morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp. We are less than seven weeks away from our opener against Roswell and just six weeks out from a scrimmage at Marist.
This Sunday we will leave for our camp in Hayden, Ala. All of our varsity players will be bonding during the trip as well as working on their football skills. The team will return from the trip next Tuesday and then turn around on Friday to compete in the Lassiter 7-on-7 tournament. We expect to see some top competition at the Lassiter event, so we’ll need to be ready.
