The football team defeated North Forsyth 41-20 on Friday Oct. 24. Quarterback Mike Tamburo had 114 yards rushing, 165 yards passing, and four touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Running back Tyler Jarry also contributed four touchdowns, two coming off passes thrown by Tamburo. The Bulldogs blew out Duluth 53-0 last Friday on senior night behind Jarry’s 101 yards rushing and three touchdowns. The Bulldogs play Peachtree Ridge this Friday to decide the Region 7-AAAAA championship. … Emily Beam, Brittany Broome and Kacey Martin of the softball team were all named to the East Atlanta All-Star Team for the Georgia Dugout Club Senior All-Star Games to be played this Friday and Saturday. … The boys cross country team finished ninth in the Carrollton Last Chance on Saturday, Oct. 25. Giles Willis led with a time of 17:54. The girls cross county team finished first. Laura Serres led all girls with a time of 19:32. The boys finished fourth in the Region 7-AAAAA Championship last Saturday. Alex Harrison led with a time of 16:40. The girls finished second, as Nicole DiMercurio led with a time of 18:42.
