Bulldogs fight hard, but fall just short, lose 13-6

It may have not been the result head coach Kenneth Miller wanted in his first game at Tri-Cities, but he still saw plenty of positives from a team that won only one game last season. The Bulldogs fell to Creekside 13-6 on Friday with their new leader at the helm. In 12 games last season, only once did the Bulldogs hold their opponent under 13 points. On Friday, however, the defense was able to play fast and relatively mistake-free, keeping the offense within striking distance throughout the game. This Friday the Bulldogs will host Carver-Columbus. … It was a difficult start for the softball team, as they opened with a 15-0 loss in region play to Lithia Springs. The team is 0-1 in the region and will hit the road, as the Lady Bulldogs take on Sandy Creek on Wednesday. … Looking to come back from the team’s close opening-week loss, the volleyball team fell to Flowery Branch and remains winless on the season. On Tuesday the team will open region play at Northgate.
