Bad news surfaced for the ‘Dogs on Wednesday, as the team announced senior wide receiver Kris Durham will miss the entire 2009 season. Durham has a torn labrum and has plans to undergo surgery in May.
Head coach Mark Richt made the following announcement after yesterday’s practice:
“It was a decision that we felt was in his best interest,” the coach said. “He feels very strongly about it. He just wants to make sure he has a healthy senior year.”
Durham finished fifth on the team in catches last year with 13 for 199 yards and one touchdown.
