Breaking: Teddy Jarrard Has Transferred To North Cobb

Former North Cobb Christian standout quarterback Teddy Jarrard has transferred to North Cobb.

Jarrard had another stellar season, throwing for 2,647 yards and 34 touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes for North Cobb Christian. He was an integral part of the offense this season for the Eagles, helping lead them to a massive win over Savannah Christian this postseason. It was one of Jarrard’s best games, throwing for 327 yards and three touchdowns. He finished the season strong throwing for 300+ yards in three of the final four games. He also threw for 16 touchdowns during that span.

He will now join 4-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson, Steele Ingram, Zachary Belyeu and head coach Shane Queen at North Cobb. The Warriors have been known for having elite quarterbacks come through the program including Malachi Singleton (Arkansas) and Nick Grimstead. North Cobb now lands another elite signal caller to command the offense and one of the best passers in the country. Jarrard is also heavily recruited and has 14 offers and recently picked up offers from Miami and Duke and continues to garner collegiate interest.

Even though the departure may be tough for the North Cobb Christian program, they have an amazing coaching staff and a group of young athletes coming up. The Jarrard family spoke highly of their former program and lauded them praise for what they meant to Teddy’s development and all the wonderful memories. They especially appreciate head coach Matt Jones and offensive coordinator Gary Varner.

“North Cobb Christian is super important to us. It was a big part of the healing for our family when Teddy’s cousin passed away.  The program will be a great opportunity for anyone looking to get on the field.  The coaching is first-class. When we first got there, it was Matt‘s second year as head coach and they were 2-8 I think,” said Jerry Jarrard. “He probably had 20 people on the team. This past year there were around 80 kids in the program. He and Coach Varner (offensive coordinator) have been like second dads to Teddy and all my kids. That doesn’t even include the magical season they had this past year with such incredible memories.”
