In Class AAAAAA, previously No. 4 ranked Walton dropped to No. 9 with a 72-58 loss to Milton, its first defeat of the season. Milton comes in at No. 7 after topping the Raiders and jumping to a solid 10-5 start under head coach Matt Kramer. Marietta fell to South Cobb 54-45 and drops out of the poll and McEachern replaces Grayson, which fell 48-40 to Berkmar.
Unbeaten Allatoona remains at the top of Class AAAAA, and Stephenson enters the top five after a 61-56 win over previous No. 5 M.L. King. No. 2 Tucker survived a 57-56 win over Mays and No. 3 Miller Grove dominated competition this week with a 91-30 route over Clarkston and a 88-36 win over Lakeside-DeKalb.
In Class AAAA, No. 8 Alexander cruised to a 93-74 victory over previously No. 2 ranked Sandy Creek and moved into the top 5. The loss dropped the Patriots four spots to No. 6.
In Class AAA, Morgan County moved up to two spots to No. 7 after posting a 73-44 win over Franklin County and a 77-30 win over Jackson County. Blessed Trinity topped Cedar Grove 53-42 and sent the 8-5 Saints out of the top 10. Blessed Trinity debuts at No. 9 and Elbert County drops from No. 7 to No. 10 after a 73-68 loss to Hart County.
In Class AA, Calhoun cracks the top five after its 50-38 win over previously No. 3 ranked Model. Model slides to No. 7 in the poll. Previously No. 10 ranked Northeast-Macon dropped out of the poll and is replaced by Crawford County, who moved to 11-3 with its 72-59 win over Northeast.
In Class A, previous No. 4 Landmark Christian’s 78-73 loss to Hapeville Charter dropped the War Eagles to No. 5. Greenforest Christian moves up to the new No. 4 with a 62-18 win over Paideia and a 51-42 win over Westminster.
