The Archer Tigers and Collins Hill Eagles maintained their top spots in the Class AAAAAA poll after winning the Area 8-AAAAAA and Area 7-AAAAAA region duals, respectively. Brookwood fell to No. 5 after falling in the finals to Archer as Kennesaw Mountain moved up to No. 3 after winning the Area 4-AAAAAA title. Gilmer stayed in the Class AAAA No. 1 spot after winning its area title and Pope is still the Class AAAAA No. 1 after claiming the program’s sixth straight area crown.
Flowery Branch moved into the Class AAAAA rankings to No. 6 by winning the school’s first area title and Chestatee also won the program’s first area title by winning the Area 8-AAAA crown to move to No. 7. Banks County jumped up to No. 3 in Class AAA after winning the Area 4-AAA title.
Roswell is also new to the Class AAAAAA poll, checking in at No. 10.
