According to a Sports Illustrated report, New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2003, the year he won the AL MVP Award and home run title as a Texas Ranger.
That year, there were no penalties for a positive result in Major League Baseball.
When reached for comment at a Miami gym, Rodriguez said, “You’ll have to talk to the union. … I’m not saying anything.”
