No. 1 Milton scored 35 unanswered points in a dominating 49-7 win against Lanier. No. 2 Hughes rolled in a 49-0 shutout victory against McIntosh. No. 3 Lee County game against No. 4 Coffee was postponed and is set to be made up at a later date. No. 5 Gainesville shut out Seckinger in a 41-0 victory. No. 6 Thomas County Central scored 61 points in its win against Veterans. No. 7 Houston County QB Antwann Hill threw for eight touchdowns in a 63-22 win against Northside-Warner Robins No. 8 Roswell shut out Johns Creek in its 45-0 victory. No. 9 Decatur defeated Shiloh 35-18. No. 10 Rome picked up its third consecutive victory against Villa Rica.

No. 1 Sandy Creek moved to 6-0 after a 38-18 victory against Spalding. No. 2 Peach County has scored 40 points in six of their season games this season and did it again in a 49-14 win over Dougherty. No. 3 Long County game was postponed. No. 4 Jefferson handled No. 5 Monroe area in a 38-14 victory. No. 6 Westover won a nailbiter in its 40-37 win against unranked Bainbridge. No. 7 LaGrange recorded its fifth win of the season after defeating Whitewater 42-14. No. 8 Cherokee Bluff moved to 6-0 after its 41-14 win against West Hall. No. 9 Northwest Whitfield has its second consecutive 6-1 start after defeating LaFayette 48-21. No. 10 Douglass-Atlanta dominated Riverdale in a shutout 57-0 win to advance to 4-2.

No. 1 Toombs County had an idle week. No. 2 Dublin handed Ace Charter its second consecutive loss and second-lowest scoring total in a 48-3 win. No. 3 Fitzgerald remained undefeated after a 46-14 victory over Brantley County. No. 4 Fannin County handed Chattoga its second loss of the season after a dominant 35-7 win. No. 5 Dodge County makes its top five debut after a 35-24 victory over Washington county jumping two spots in the poll. It’s Dodge County’s highest ranking this season. No. 6 Northeast picked up a 33-30 victory against Bleckley County. No. 7 Lamar County dominated Towers 41-12 this past saturday.No. 8 Jeff Davis had its game postponed. No. 9 Thomasville lost to Worth County 28-27. No. 10 Commerce emerges back in the rankings after defeating Rabun County in a high scoring contest.

We have a new number one for the first time this season as No. 1 Irwin County moved to 6-0 with a 42-30 victory over Turner County. No. 2 Manchester handed No. 3 Bowdon its second loss of the season in a 28-20 win on Friday. Despite the two losses, Bowdon is still a title contender and one of the better teams in the state. No. 4 Clinch County and No. 5 Greene County had their games postponed. No. 6 Metter is slated to play Claxton on Monday. No. 7 Lincoln County had an idle week. No. 8 Trion got back to its winning ways in a 44-0 victory over Mt.Zion Carroll. No. 9 Seminole County dominated Miller County in a 48-10 win. No. 10 Brooks County was idle this week.
