The GHSA Esports regular season ends Thursday and the playoffs will take to the virtual arena Monday, Nov. 27 to begin the trek to the state championships.
The championships will be held December 15 at the University of West Georgia’s Coliseum where championships will be awarded in League of Legends, Rocket League, Smash (1A-4A, 5A-7A), Mario Kart, Madden and Splatoon 3.
In League of Legends, Peachtree Ridge (7-0) leads with Brookwood (6-1), Johnson-Savannah’s 5 Guys Ganking Fries (6-1), Meadowcreek’s Mustangs (6-1) and LaGrange’s LoL Orange (6-1) chasing. Bremen’s Trident eSports (7-0) leads the Rocket League standings ahead of five teams tied at 6-1).
In the 5A-7A Super Smash Bros. standings, Brookwood’s High Chillagers and Discovery’s Titans Green are tied at 7-0. In the 1A-4A Super Smash Bros. standings, Landmark’s Smash Gold and Tattnall’s Cornerla Crushers are both 7-0 and atop the standings.
Lowndes’ LHS_Crimson_Team and Brookwood’s Maroon Shells are both 7-0 and lead the Mario Kart standings with seven teams tied at 6-1. In Madden, Peach County’s ChrisPBacon leads the standings at 7-0 with four teams tied at 6-1.
The finals will be broadcast on the West Georgia Twitch Channel and the NFHS Network.
