Softball and volleyball action continued Tuesday across the state and in a meeting between A Private Wesleyan and 2A Pace Academy, Wesleyan softball opened the season with a 14-5 victory. Sophomore Macey Cintron pitched three innings with six strikeouts and was 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Wolves.
Junior Ryley Kutter was 3-for-5 from the plate with three RBI’s and junior Christina McCoy went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI’s. Senior Tinsley Bertram was also 3-for-4 from the plate with two RBI’s and senior Imani Washington batted in two runs.
