In Class AAAAAAA boys, Shiloh moved up from No. 3 to No. 2 and swapped places with Norcross. Grayson remains No. 1 and Milton and McEachern round out the top 5. Sequoyah dropped a 58-55 loss to Allatoona and fell from No. 2 to No. 5 in the Class AAAAAA top 10.
Lithonia’s losses to Columbia and Miller Grove sent the Bulldogs from No. 1 to No. 4 in Class AAAAA and Eagle’s Landing took over the top spot. Also, Douglas County replaced Pope in the poll and comes in at No. 9.
In Class AAAA, top-ranked Americus-Sumter enters the playoffs with a perfect 27-0 record. Behind the Panthers are No. 2 Woodward Academy, No. 3 Woodward Academy and fourth-ranked Chapel Hill and No. 5 Denmark.
Hart County’s losses to Franklin County and Monroe Area resulted in a plunge from No. 4 to No. 9. Franklin County’s victory earned it a spot at No. 7. Additionally, Westside-Macon and Jefferson replaced Greater Atlanta Christian and Lovett in the top 10.
Swainsboro took over the top spot in Class AA and Therrelll fell to No. 3 behind Glenn Hills. First Presbyterian Day and St. Anne Pacelli replaced Christian Heritage and Mt. Paran in Classs A-Private. In Class A-Public, Lanier County’s 80-61 win over Turner County moved it up to No. 8 and sent Turner County out of the top 10, making room for Lincoln County which comes in at No. 10.

The first round of the GHSA State Basketball playoffs will take place Thursday-Saturday and entering the postseason, here are where the teams stand within their class.
In the state’s highest class, the Westlake girls finished their regular season with a 25-2 record and a region title after a flawless 10-0 record in 2-AAAAAAA and the top-ranked Lions will face Etowah in the first round. No. 2 Collins Hill is undefeated (27-0, 14-0) on the season as it waits for its first-round matchup against Newton on Friday. Cherokee (25-2, 10-0), North Forsyth (25-2, 9-1) and Campbell (20-7, 7-3) round out the top 5 entering the playoffs.
In Class AAAAAA, Lovejoy (24-4, 15-1) is again the team to beat. The Wildcats will host Richmond Hill in the first round. Valdosta (25-2, 8-0), which was No. 3 before the region tournaments, climbed up to No. 2. Forest Park (22-6, 15-1), Glynn Academy (22-4, 9-0) and Dacula (24-3, 9-1) make up the top 5 teams in the class.
Buford (26-1, 10-0) is still the team to beat in Class AAAAA with an undefeated Kell (28-0, 16-0) program chasing. Buford awaits a first-round game against Grady and Kell will host Lithonia. Southwest DeKalb (21-6, 14-0), Statesboro (22-5, 9-1) and Wayne County (23-2, 7-2) fill out the top 5.
Carver-Columbus (22-4, 16-1) is at the top of Class AAAA and Americus-Sumter (24-2, 16-2) is a close second with the playoffs looming. Carver awaits its first-round match against Thomson while Americus-Sumter will face Burke County to begin its trek into the postseason. Luella (22-5, 13-2), Spalding (21-4, 11-0) and Marist (25-1, 14-0) round out the top of the class.
Johnson-Savannah (22-1, 14-0), the two-time defending champions, enter the playoffs at the top of Class AAA with Jefferson (23-4, 12-0), Beach (18-9, 12-2), Cedar Grove (18-5, 10-2) and Greater Atlanta Christian (15-12, 10-2) rounding out the top 5. Johnson will host the At Large bid, Lumpkin County, in the first round.
Laney (25-2, 16-0) tops Class AA and will host Metter in the first round of the playoffs. Early County (23-4, 8-0), Douglass (20-5, 14-0), Southwest-Macon (21-3, 11-1) and Vidalia (22-4, 14-2) make up the top of the class.
St. Francis (25-3, 12-0) is the team to beat in Class A-Private with an undefeated Hebron Christian (28-0, 12-0) program chasing. Holy Innocents’ (22-5, 7-0), Mount Paran (20-5, 10-2) and Wesleyan (20-5, 6-1) are at the top of the class. In Class A-Public, Wheeler County (27-1, 11-0) is at the top of the class with Central-Talbotton (24-1, 13-1), Calhoun County (23-4, 17-0), Clinch County (22-2, 14-2) and Bowdon (21-6, 10-2) fill out the top of the class.
