East Coweta leads the state’s highest class again in this week’s poll ahead of No. 2 North Gwinnett. Archer moved into the top 5 at No. 5 after Colquitt County slid from No. 4 to No. 5. In Class AAAAAA, Houston leads again this week with Lee County up to No. 2 from No. 4. Creekview is No. 3 this week, up from No. 5. Dacula slid from No. 3 to No. 5.
In Class AAAAA, Locust Grove is the team to beat ahead of Walnut Grove again this week. Carrollton moved up from No. 4 to No. 3 and Starr’s Mill slid from No. 3 to No. 4. Buford is No. 5 again this week.
Eastside is at the top of Class AAAA again with Heritage-Catoosa taking to No. 2 spot, up from No. 4. Northwest Whitfield is No. 3 after a drop from No. 2. Northside-Columbus fell from No. 3 to No. 4 with Marist again at No. 5.
Ringgold leads Class AAA again with East Hall up to No. 2 from No. 3 after Calhoun fell from No. 2 to No. 4. Franklin County is No. 3 this week, up from No. 5. Jackson County rounds out the top 5 and is up from No. 9 in last week’s poll.
Banks, again, is the team to beat in Class AA ahead of No. 2 Heard County. Rockmart is No. 3 again this week with Harlem at No. 4 and Vidalia at No. 5.
In Class A-Public, Gordon Lee leads with Trion at No. 2 again this week. Bowdon is up to No. 3 from No. 5 and Marion County fell from No. 3 to No. 5. In Class A-Private, Wesleyan is at the top again and leading No. 2 George Walton Academy. No. 3 Tattnall Square is in the same spot ahead of No. 4 Mount de Sales and No. 5 Strong Rock Christian.
