In Class AAAAAAA, undefeated Westlake is No. 1 and takes its 25-0 record into the state playoffs. Collins Hill (26-1), Cherokee (24-3), Grayson (25-2) and Brookwood (20-6) round out the top 5.
Lovejoy, Forest Park, Northview, Lanier and Stephenson round out the Class AAAAAA top 5 and Buford edged undefeated Villa Rica (28-0) for the top spot in Class AAAAA.
Carver-Columbus is Class AAAA No. 1 and defending state champion Spalding enters the playoffs at No. 4 behind Henry County and Class AAAA newcomer Flowery Branch.
Beach leads Class AAA as the ladies head into the tournament. Jefferson is second ahead of third-ranked Johnson-Savannah. Hart County and Greater Atlanta Christian are fourth and fifth, respectively.
Fitzgerald is at the top of Class AA as it heads into the state tournament. Dodge County holds the No. 2 spot ahead of Rabun County at third. Laney is fourth with Early County rounding out the top-5 at fifth.
Marion County leads Class A-Public this week ahead of Greenville at the No. 2 spot. Telfair County, Calhoun County and Wheeler County make up the top-5.
In Class A-Private, Holy Innocents’ is at the top ahead of No. 2 Wesleyan. St Francis is third with Stratford Academy and Lakeview Academy finishing out the top-5.
