N I C E…..
I thought this Composite move of the Canes from #3 to #2 would happen as the win over a fairly highly MaxPreps (MaxPreps/CalpPreps) ranked Pickens(10 or 11?) last week was enough to bump Cartersville from 5 to 2 in the MP model. Canes were already #2 in the Maxwell ratings before the Pickens game.
The Score Atlanta #7 ranking(also shown above) though… well, what can ya say… they are just being typical …. Score Atlanta.tongue Craig Sager II is still likely peeved that Cartersville let him down last year with a second round exit after going to the 4th round semis game the year before in 2012. Craig had made some pretty bold positive comments about Cartersville prior to that 2nd round exit in 2013. Either that… or… Steven Black is getting back at me for all the Baseball rankings garbage I’ve been dishing out on my Score Atlanta buds for the last several baseball seasons.winkwinkwink Yea..yea… yea, that has to be it ! pirate LOL.
I guess it could be all my fault that Score Atlanta had Veterans(3-7) and Arabia Mountain(4-6) in their preseason top ten… or…. TCC( 6-4) at #4 in all of AAAA in week 8 when TCC couldn’t even finish as a top four in their own region by week 11… or… having Mary Persons at #9 in week 5 and then over 4 short weeks bumping Persons over the likes of SC, Marist, and Woodward ALL THE WAY TO #3 based on their wins over Howard, Upson Lee, Veterans and Baldwin.
Or dang, how bout last week when Score Atlanta’s #7 team (Cartersville) beat Score Atlanta’s #10 team (Pickens) while Score Atlanta’s #8 team Pius was beating Redan(2-8) … you’d almost SURELY think Score Atlanta would slide the Canes up a notch to #6 after the Mary Person’s demise from #3 right???? LMAO… nope – on the basis of that Pius win over the 2-8 Redan and apparently not noticing that their prior week’s #7 ranked team was playing and beating their #10 ranked team … Score Atlanta just slide everybody up one except the Canes…. where instead Score Atlanta decided to move Pius over the Canes into that #6 spot after that rousing win over Redan. SuWeeeeet. IHCB must be feeding Score Atlanta their ratings! tongue
Oh well… Score Atlanta may very well finally be close with this latest ranking of theirs … IDK… but I wouldn’t bet on it…. would you???? eek
