The World Football Classic is coming to the Georgia Dome in July! (No, it’s not American football … which is too bad, because we’re pretty sure a U.S. team of gridiron all-stars would probably fare better in international competition than the U.S. team that showed up for the last three international baseball events.)
In the upcoming soccer event, four teams will be playing a round-robin tournament in six different cities over the summer. The American team will take on AC Milan, one of the top European club teams, in the Georgia Dome on July 22. The other two participating teams are Inter Milan and Chelsea.
