Citing reasons such as the equipment manager, distance to facilities and family ties, Sprayberry OL Bailey Sharp committed to Auburn Saturday on the Alabama school’s campus.
Sharp, a 6-foot-4, 284-pound OT prospect, was offered by a bevy of programs including Florida, Cal, Georgia Tech, Michigan State and South Carolina. However, his only other visits were to Clemson and Georgia, who were the two finalists along with Auburn.
Sharp visited Auburn with 27 of his family members and friends. He mentioned he would try to recruit Mill Creek OL Kaleb Kim to Auburn as well.
In Sharp’s three years at Sprayberry, the Yellow Jackets have gone 5-6, 3-7 and then 2-8 last season.
