Just a junior, Simmons has stepped up as the Lady Hawks’ marquee player after the departure of Porsha Porter. Simmons was named to the All-Region (7-AAAAA) team last year as a sophomore, and was a key player in taking the team to the Final Four. She is also a talented volleyball player, earning All-Area honors and helping Mill Creek to a Sweet 16 appearance last fall.
