Over the weekend, Johns Creek posted a win over Walton for the second time this season and moves into No. 1. Walton had a strong weekend as well with wins over Woodward Academy, Chattahoochee, Lambert and South Forsyth, but Johns Creek is on a roll. The Gladiators topped Lassiter Walton, Harrison, Pope and Woodward Academy on Saturday. South Forsyth comes in at No. 3 and went 4-1 over the weekend with its only loss coming to Walton. Harris had a rough weekend and was swept by Chattahoochee, South Forsyth, Johns Creek and Blessed Trinity.
Harris County dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 in Class AAAAA after losing to Darlington and Mill Creek over the weekend.
Class AAAA No. 1 Columbus topped McIntosh, Sonoraville, ELCA and Landmark Christian over the weekend. Veterans moves to No. 2 and have lost just one match this season. The Warhawks are 21-1 and have not dropped a game in 11 straight matches. River Ridge is also one of the hottest teams in the state this year and the 23-7 Knights have won 19 of their last 20 matches.
Class AAA No. 1 Blessed Trinity swept Lambert, North Cobb, Northview and Harrison over the weekend and moves to 31-3 on the season.
Hebron Christian has moved to 24-5 on the season and went 9-0 on Saturday. The Class A No. 1 Lions topped Glynn Academy, Mt. Paran, St. Vincent’s Academy, Savannah Country Day, South Effingham, Peachtree Ridge, Camden County, Etowah and Bluffton, S.C. to win the Glynn Academy Tournament.

6A is a crap shoot. Anybody 1-8 can get to the finals depending on the day. And for the record…Harrison is a much better team than East Coweta. That is not even close.
