Flowery Branch, GA – To celebrate the start of the 2013 season and the Atlanta Falcons home opening game against the St. Louis Rams, the Falcons have announced RISE UP FRIDAY presented by YP. RISE UP FRIDAY will kickoff on Friday, September 13 and continue each Friday throughout the 2013 season.
RISE UP FRIDAY will consist of the Falcons Fan Patrol making appearances in multiple locations across the Atlanta market looking for fans wearing Falcons gear, wearing red or showing Falcons spirit. Fans “caught in the act” could win game tickets, Falcons merchandise, and more.
“Teaming up with the Falcons is an opportunity to celebrate and contribute to the passion and pride in the local community,” said Alex Kaminsky, VP of Brand Advertising based in Atlanta. “Whether you’re headed to or from a game, YP is a fan favorite for getting things done – from quickly finding pre-game dining options to the cheapest gas prices nearby. The Falcons want you to spread the RISE UP-idemic by encouraging everyone to wear red and their Falcons gear each week. Throughout the year, Falcons fans can win a visit from Freddie Falcon and Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders by showing how your business, school or classroom rises up every Friday. Fans can submit photos and videos of their business or school wearing Falcons gear or red at www.atlantafalcons.com/riseupfriday for a chance to win.
