Marietta received a spectacular pitching effort from senior pitcher Gabe Friese, who allowed just one run in 10 innings pitched while junior Brooks Dechiara pitched three scoreless innings of relief and got the decision. … No. 4 Parkview earned three wins this week, beating Brookwood 7-1 Monday, Archer 8-1 Wednesday and Shiloh 9-8 Thursday. Mac Marshall upped his record to 4-2 by earning the win over Brookwood while Ryan Blanton homered. Blanton homered again against Shiloh and drove in three runs.
