Kennedy Craig scored a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles against Newnan as the Bucs won in the finals 4-1. Katie Hulsey earned another point for Allatoona with a 6-2, 6-1 victory. … Gainesville cruised to an easy 4-1 victory over South Forsyth to win the Duluth Wildcat Invitational. Gainesville reached the finals by dominating play against Flowery Branch (4-1) and Duluth (5-0) in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. … The Gainesville boys couldn’t pull off the sweep as West Hall defeated Gainesville 3-0 in the Wildcat Invitational finals. North Gwinnett dropped just one point en route to the finals, defeating Wheeler, Columbus and Pace Academy. Blessed Trinity swept Lanier, Dunwoody and Milton before blanking North Gwinnett 5-0. … The Bremen boys rallied back from a 4-1 loss to Calhoun to finish 2-1 at the Granger Invitational. Nick Forrister went 3-0 over the three matches at No. 1 singles for Bremen, not dropping a single game over six sets. Bremen defeated Lumpkin County and Northside-Columbus 5-0 after losing 4-1 to Calhoun. North Hall went 2-1 at the event, defeating Harris County and Eagles Landing but falling to Madison County. … Norcross defeated Lowndes 4-1 in the finals of the Viking Invitational Saturday. The Blue Devils swept the singles slate as Chris Williams, William Teoh and William Espinoza all earned victories. Norcross also beat Tift County and Bleckley County en route to the matchup against the host Vikings.
