Brothers playing on the same football team isn’t uncommon and even twins suiting up for a squad is fairly common in the state of Georgia. Blessed Trinity has a special special set of twins that make up an important part of the Titans’ special teams as Nathan Etheridge serves as the team’s punter with Tucker Etheridge snapping him the ball on fourth downs and on extra points. The two seniors have excelled doing their respective duties and will each likely play at the next level. Tucker has already committed to Louisiana Tech after being named the No. 1 long snapper in the state by two different ranking services. He has competed at various spring and summer camps across the country, claiming several Nike camps championships and winning the Kohl’s Underclassman Challenge Competition. Nathan has received one offer from an FCS school but is in talks with several FBS programs. Several programs have hinted they want to sign a punter but are waiting to evaluate their existing personnel before offering. He was named to ESPN’s list of Top 100 Kickers/Punters and he has reached the finals in several punting competitions across the country over the last two years. Blessed Trinity is headed to the playoffs thanks in part to these two special players on Tim McFarlin’s special teams unit.
