Player of the Week, October 29 – Karly Fullem, Buford

This highly regarded sophomore was the winning pitcher in the Class 2A softball championship game on Saturday, pitching a complete game and holding Calhoun to just two hits in the 2-1 victory. Fullem had 13 strikeouts, and even put the Wolves on the board first with an RBI single in the fifth inning. With the win, Fullem finished the season with a 16-1 record and gave the team its second straight Class 2A state title.
