Player of the Week, October 15 – Sam Burkhalter, Blessed Trinity

The senior running back is the workhorse in a prolific Titans offense. Burkhalter put up 227 yards and three touchdowns in a come-from-behind win over Lovett last Friday, and has 817 yards and 12 touchdowns in 94 carries on the year. For his career, he has 2,977 yards and 39 touchdowns. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound back is receiving interest from Miami (Oh.) and Elon, among other schools.
