Kingdom Christian Academy & Preparatory School of Columbus capped its undefeated inaugural season with an NACA Division III National Championship. The Mighty Lions boys squad beat Shenandoah Valley Christian (Va.) over the weekend 65-54 in Dayton, Tennessee to claim the title. The national championship comes on the heels of the Class A Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama championship.
Even more amazing is that each member of the team has a 3.0 or higher GPA. The squad, coached by George Williams, featured standouts such as Paul McGill, Jontavious Miles, Kyle Williams, Peter McGill, Deondre Parks, LaMarcus White and Wenthia Warrick.
